
This easy Beetroot Paneer Tikki recipe blends the earthy sweetness of beetroot with creamy paneer and comforting potatoes. Seasoned with a dash of spices, it’s bursting with flavours. Beetroot is a nutrient powerhouse, offering vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, while paneer adds protein and calcium. INGREDIENTS
3 Beetroots, boiled, peeled and grated
2 Potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated
200 grams Cottage Cheese (Paneer), grated
1 Onion, finely chopped
1 Inch Ginger, grated
1 Green Chilli, chopped
1 cup Coriander Leaves, finely chopped
1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 Tsp roasted Cumin Powder
1 Tsp Coriander Powder
1 Tsp Dry Mango Powder (Aamchur)
Salt to taste
Oil for greasing palms and pan
Serving Suggestion: Yogurt Mint Dip

METHOD:
- In a large bowl, combine grated beetroot, mashed potatoes, grated paneer, chopped onion, grated ginger, chopped green chilli, chopped coriander leaves, red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder and salt. Mix well.
- Grease your palms with a little oil and then divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into flat tikkis/patties.
- Heat a pan or griddle and grease it with a little oil.
- Place the tikkis on the pan and cook on medium heat until they are golden brown on both sides.
- Remove from the pan and plate them
- Serve hot with Green Chutney or a Yogurt Mint Dip.
